This is registration day for non-residence students.
The week will kick of with the opening ceremonies. We usually have a special guest speaker and a quick ceremony.
We will be touring some of the major sites in Ottawa aboard some double decker buses.
A chance to tour one of the fine establishments down in the Byward Market.
Challenge your teamwork and problem solving skills at our Engineering Games.
Enjoy an afternoon at the ballpark with the Ottawa Lynx for their last regular season game.
Close out the day and try to beat the house in the annual Monte Carlo tournament. Its all play money that can be used to purchase prizes.
The Faculty of Engineering and Design hosts a madatory Academic Orientation. Rumour has it that the dean will be serving a free lunch. There will also be an Engineering Student Group Fair to let you know about all the stuff you can do outside of clases and labs; and Prelude, a University wide version.
Its a night spent just with your group. You'll get a chance to bond, get to know one another, and have an awesome time. Now's a good time to start brainstorming about your boat. You might even get visited by a few VIPs
Wake up early in the morning and raft the white-water rapids of the Ottawa River. For those of you who choose not to brave the cool waters, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, including: Beach Volleyball, Ultimate, and just chillin' on the patio.
The day ends with a free, open air concert.
This is your first day of classes. You have no labs or tutorials this week, so its just lectures you have to go to.
In the evening we'll be walking down to the classic Mayfair Theatre to catch a movie doubleheader in true engineering style.
Participate in Shinerama in the morning (if you don't have classes) to help raise money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Or, if you'd rather kick back and have some Krazy fun, enjoy some care free Cosmic Bowling.
It's off to the Byward Market in the morning to play some games and entertain the crowds, all for the benefit of Engineers Without Borders (EWB).
In the evening it's back to campus to begin - and FINISH - the construction of your boats.
