Come on in and meet your new neighbours.

Since its inception, EngFrosh has endeavored to give first year engineering students an insight into upcoming university life. In recent years, great efforts have been made to make EngFrosh a valuable tool to an engineering student’s undergraduate career. In all respects, this goal has been attained.  Today, students that participate in EngFrosh emerge from the week with a strong network of friends to support them, as well as a taste of the university lifestyle. But, probably the most beneficial, and often overlooked aspect of frosh week is the sense of community it develops among the engineering student body. With over two-and-a-half thousand students, one could easily be lost in the crowd.  Fortunately, this is not the case at Carleton, as the students have a strong network of peers to rely on. This is Carleton Engineering’s greatest triumph, with much of the groundwork laid during the first week in September - Frosh Week!

We invite all of you to join in the exciting activities we have planned for you during EngFrosh 2001.

Take a look at What's New in EngVille.

What's New

EngVille is always a busy little place at Carleton during the summer months.  The Town Council is working hard to make it the best little burg you could ever imagine.  Now, a lot of their work is behind closed doors at the Town Hall, but here's some information you might want to keep up to date on.

September 14, 2001

Well folks, EngFrosh 2001 has been and gone.  It was a great week, filled with awesome weather and good clean - well okay, only slightly soiled - fun.  I hope everyone had as much fun as I did, and that most of you managed to avoid the cold that has had me missing work most of this week.  Remember to keep an eye out in and around Leo's.  I know a couple of groups have started email lists, and posting group outings around there.
And now, a word from our sponsor - March Networks
March Networks is all about igniting new and innovative broadband IP
services.  As an aggressive, privately-held company led by industry visionary Terry Matthews, March Networks offers top co-op and summer students - as well as new graduates - the opportunity to work on interactive broadband IP applications and delivery platforms in a fun, energized team environment.  We work hard, act strategically and focus on solutions that meet our customers' business requirements. Our employees get the chance to work on hot R&D initiatives, and really contribute to - and benefit from - the Company's success.
