Welcome to the ByWard Market Scavenger Hunt, aka SKUNT. Traditionally the Market SKUNT is held in none other than Ottawa's beautiful downtown market on the Saturday of Frosh Week. This year it will be hosted by your fabulous and fun-loving SKUNT Gods: Carmelo Ielo (Melo Yellow), Lorne Green (Lorne Green) and Sausan Khomusi (Hot Sauce).

SKUNT starts with your frosh group having only $20 and a lot of imagination and innovation . Your goal is to find everything on your SKUNT list from an earthworm to a rickshaw driver. Creativity and originality score tons of Billy Bucks.

What's a Billy Buck you say?

Well, this year we've decided to give out points in the form of EngFrosh money also known as Billy Bucks. If you perform a cool stunt or have an awesome cheer or are simply enthusiastic we will give you 'Billy Bucks' for your efforts. ( obviously at the discretion of the SKUNT Gods) Billy Bucks will be used by your frosh group to win the Incredible Prize at the end of the week so it is your duty to get as many Billy Bucks as possible and to hold on to them. But, not to worry, for the non-winning groups you will have a chance to bid in an auction for the runner-up Incredible Prize.

But that's not all folks....the SKUNT Gods are not only in charge of the Market Scavenger Hunt but of all the spirit activities during the week. Each day we will be hosting mini SKUNT challenges from on-the-spot skits to planned games like Assassins and full contact Twister. We have tons of fun stuff in store for you and many opportunities to score Billy Bucks .

So remember to show your enthusiasm and spirit to us (not that you aren't going to display it 24 hours a day, all week long regardless of if we are around or not) because.....
