Bungee Day is the pivotal event of EngFrosh '98 - we go into high gear,
and get wet 'n wild! Wednesday is a fun-filled day of beach activities,
volleyball, football, swimming, frisbee, bungee jumping, rail sliding, or
just relaxing in the sun. Wednesday night? A live concert!

|
Frosh will meet in the MacKenzie Engineering Quad at 9 AM. Be prompt: the
buses will leave no later than 9:15 AM. You'll need sunscreen, a change
of clothes, a beach towel, a hat, footballs/frisbees/aerobies, a bathing
suit, and money. Non-alcoholic drinks are free all day long.

The Great Canadian Bungee Company is the largest bungee site in Canada.
It's located in a rock quarry in Wakefield, Quebec, 45 minutes from
Carleton. Engineering Frosh get special bungee rates with their Frosh
Kits. (See Packages & Cost for more information).

“SuperFrosh” is a title given each year to the most spirited, energetic,
enthusiastic Frosh. Here, last year’s SuperFrosh Lorne Green rides the
keg, a yearly Frosh tradition.
|
|
Frosh will be served a light lunch and a hearty dinner. Pop, water, and
juice will be available throughout the day. After dinner, there will be
just enough time for one last swim before heading back to the MacKenzie
Engineering Quad at 7 PM.
|
|
Frosh will arrive at the Quad at 7:30 PM, and will walk over to the campus
location of the CUSA concert. Holly McNarland is currently slated to open
for 54.40, in a huge outdoor concert running until 11 PM! EngFrosh '98
Frosh will be admitted free of charge.
