Note: Friday is the second day of regularly scheduled classes.
Although Engineering labs do NOT start until Monday, Sept. 14th, Frosh are
expected to attend all scheduled classes.
On Friday, the intensity level is notched up a few levels, and we let our
hair down. We’ll meet in the MacKenzie Engineering Quad at 6 PM, and then
be bused downtown to the market for a late supper.
Dinner will be served in one of Ottawa's finest Market pubs, with a menu
including true pub fare, such as spaghetti, wings or chicken. Turnout for
Friday’s events is usually so enormous that Engineers virtually take over,
sprawling out onto the patio and into neighbouring pubs.
The pub crawl will get started at about 8:30 PM. The Pub Crawl is aptly
named as each of the bars on our list are within walking distance of each
other. We’ll move from bar to bar throughout the night, visiting more than
six or seven establishments before ending up in a mystery location.
Frosh will be bused back to the MacKenzie Engineering Quad starting at
midnight and ending when the last Frosh is ready to go.
