Please only submit only one application form. Pay attention to requirements for positions. Coordinators and Group Leaders are required to be in Ottawa during the summer, and must attach a relevant work/volunteer experience resume with the application. Group Leaders (6-8 positions) Group Leaders oversee an entire frosh group: coordinating the facils, meeting frosh needs, and acting as an administrative contact. A few key points: group leaders are required to sign a contract regarding a strict no-drinking rule, and agree to stay on campus for the duration of the EngFrosh week. Facils (24-40 positions) Facils are responsible for fun: coordinating frosh on a 10:1 ratio, ensuring group rivalry, and most importantly: that frosh have fun. A few key points: facils are required to sign a contract regarding a policy on non-drinking. Donations/Sponsorship Coordinator (1 position) Running an event as large as EngFrosh 98 requires money. Lots. The Donations Coordinator will be responsible for soliciting donations and sponsorship from businesses in the area (food, transportation, money). This coordinator will also ensure representation of the sponsors at EngFrosh 98. Skunt Coordinator (1 position) Skunt is the annual engineering scavenger hunt, which is always a success. The Skunt Coordinator will be responsible for planning a week-long event (several skunt targets each day) with one afternoon/evening Skunt session in the Market. This coordinator will also be responsible for finding and overseeing two Skunt Gods to help run events during the week. Pub Crawl Coordinator (1 position) A highlight of frosh week is the pub crawl, a sometimes intense introduction to the drinking establishments of Ottawa. The Pub Crawl Coordinator will be responsible for planning a theme for this years market pub crawl, and running the event. Duties will include contacting bars and pubs, and ensuring cooperation between EngFrosh 98 and owners/operators. The Coordinator will also assist Logistics organize food during the week. Transportation Coordinator (1 person) The Transportation Coordinator will assist Logistics organize transportation to and from events during the week, as well as driving rented shuttle van.
